The View

Hi All! Now 2011 is over I want to share a series of photos I took in 2011. They all show you the view from my window. So this is what I see, every single day, from the moment I open my curtains untill the moment I close them. The first picture shows what my view looks like whilst writing this post. The other pictures are ordered by date and show you the view from my window throughout 2011. Enjoy!

Autumn Part III

Sorry guys, I kept you waiting. My last post is already a big week ago, and that's unacceptable :) From now on I will have more time, because school isn't absorbing as much time as it did before. Oh and time flies! As I posted autumn pictures last week, it now feels like winter is very close. In this post I will show you some delayed pictures of autumn. xx

Autumn part I

As I said two posts ago, I love the warm colour scale autumn gives us. The following photographs will hopefully show you the beauty of autumn. Enjoy!

Rotterdam central station

Hello my lovely visitors,

I have recently visited Rotterdam and I really enjoyed the city. Contrary to some other cities the people are very kind. In this post: a picture of the central station. This is where my trip began and ended. The station is now being renovated like many other train-stations in the Netherlands. I am curious about what it will look like in the future.

last days of summer

As the title says, these pictures are taken at the end of summer.
On this exact moment, summer has already ended.
And clear signs of summer have already disappeared. Autumn has started some weeks ago,
and that's fine.Just fine, because I definitely prefer summer.
But it shouldn't be left unsaid that I also like autumn.
This has a main, selfish reason. Which is, that it is my birthday in Autumn.
I was seventeen yesterday, so I'll post some pictures of that soon.
The other reason why I like autumn is that the colours of all the leaves are so beautiful.
I really like the gradients, and the warm colour scale..

Amsterdam

Yesterday I went to Amsterdam with school. We weren't obliged to go there, but because Amsterdam is my favourite city I directly signed in. I love Amsterdam because of it's multi-culturality, the freedom and the kindness of the people there. It is always cozy on The Dam Square, there very often are new groups or performers trying to breakthrough, gather name recognition and gather some money. So you always see new, spectacular, talented , good, or bad, performances. That's why I spent my whole evening there. I spent my afternoon enjoying the sun on a small grass field at Rembrandtplein, have had a lovely relaxing time! I always feel very well when I return home from an Amsterdam trip, same for yesterday, it was marvellous! xx

Devon and light

Hi! With the speed of light I am trying to show you how Exeter looks like at the end of the day. The lighthouse of Plymouth is in the first picture and looks quite vintage with the ferris wheel in the back. The other pictures show you the beauty of the Exeter Quayside.
There was a lovely restaurant called Waterfront (the restaurant with the mint coloured shutters in photo no. 3) where I ate pizza two times. It was affordable and the view over Exeter's Quay was amazing! There were people windsurfing and little children playing in the waterfall, picture no. 6. I was so jealous of them being able to enjoy the water of Exeter's Quay. I myself tried kayaking over there, it was so nice! Take care! ♥

Cathedral

Hiya!

Todays post is about the wonderful Cathedrals in South Devon. During my stay in Exeter I spent most of my time around Exeter's Cathedral, which is called the Cathedral Green. Fortunately the weather was quite sunny, I got tanned, and it was warm enough to stay there until 8 or 9 pm. The first three pictures show the beauty of the Exeter Cathedral. I am sad about the fact that I didn't manage to go inside the Cathedral. Besides that I have great memories of my time around the Cathedral.  The weather was very nice and it was always very cozy to be there with friends. I hope I will see Exeter again, I can't wait!
Just for your information, the other pictures are taken at Salisbury. The Cathedral of Salisbury is very known, which I found out the day after, I didn't know that when I was in Salisbury, haha.
