Inspiring people

I don't really remember when or why I discovered behance.net, but I do know that I love it from the first moment. It was at the beginning of december, I was boringly surfing the net, somehow hit behance.net, where I adjusted my searching filters to photography and glassy-eyed stared through all the thumbnails. My eye got caught on the thumbnail of the following project: "Rainbow Gathering" by Benoit Paillé.

In this project Benoit shows the pictures he made of his family, his brothers and sisters. He has been going to rainbow gatherings for 7 years now, and he has taken pictures of it for the past 3 years.

Rainbow Gatherings are temporary intentional communities, typically held in outdoor settings, and espousing and practicing ideals of peace, love, harmony, freedom and community, as a consciously expressed alternative to mainstream popular culture, consumerism, capitalism and mass media.

I love the way Benoit shows us the beauty and pureness of these inspiring people.
